Embroidered Linen Day Dress

An Upcycled Regency Day Dress
This gown was created from an embroidered linen curtain that I found for a song on Facebook Marketplace. The fully hand-sewn gown was created from a pattern in Regency Women's Dress: Techniques and Patterns 1800–1830 by Cassidy Percoco.
The gown was accompanied with a red wool 18th-century style cloak and a matching beret and reticule.

This ensemble features a standard shift (18th-century style) and an underpetticoat. The corset was created from the RedThreaded long Regency Stays with a straight wooden busk. Then another petticoat and finally the gown!
I accessorized with silk stockings and boots from American Duchess, a matching velvet beret and reticule, and a red wool 18th-century cape.
